Final Broadcast Ratings: October 2, 2017
NBC edges out ABC for the Monday night win, posting the top numbers in the three demographic categories. ABC, the most watched network, was right on the heals of ABC, in the demos. CBS tops FOX for #3 on the night, but was #4 in the A18-34 demographic.
For NBC, THE VOICE drew 11.0 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49, up slightly in viewership, and even in the A18-49 demo, from last week. New military drama, THE BRAVE, dropped in all categories, including 800k in total viewership.
ABC saw gains, week-to-week, with DANCING WITH THE STARS growing 400,000 in total viewership and even in the A18-49 age group. New hit drama, THE GOOD DOCTOR dropped just 100k in viewers and maintained its number in the demo.
CBS was down, week-to-week, across the board. Series premiere of 9JKL lost nearly 9 million viewers and 60% in the demo, from last week's occupant, YOUNG SHELDON. SCORPION continues to rank last in the 10 PM hour.

Third year series, LUCIFER, brought in 3.9 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, down 500k in viewership and 15% in the demo, from last year's premiere. New series, THE GIFTED sows signs of promise, growing nearly one million viewers and over 35% in the demo, from its lead in.
