FOX college football posted its best numbers of this young season, grabbing 4.2 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. But that was still not enough to overtake ABC Saturday Night College football and its 5.1 million viewers and 1.6 demo.

NBC edged out CBS for third place on the night, despite a low rated new special episode of RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS. the 10 PM program drew just 2.2 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. the lowest numbers of the night from any of the four networks.
