Final Broadcast Ratings: September 2, 2017

ABC dominates the first Saturday night of September, with the premiere of Saturday Night College Football. The primetime game commanded 12.3 million viewers and posted a 3.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is well and above last year's game, which drew under 8 million total viewers and a 2.5 demographic rating.

FOX also premiered its Saturday night college season, but to far worse results. THE football game averaged 1.8 million viewers and just a 0.5 demo rating. That is on par with last year's opener.

CBS closed out the season foR the low rated game show, CANDY CRUSH. The two-hour program collected just 1.2 million viewers and averaged  0.3 rating in Adults 18-49.

NBC was encore on the night, but topped CBS and was near equal to FOX, on the night.
