Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 08/30/2017

NBC edges out FOX to wen the Wednesday night ratings, with solid performances from AMERICA'S GOT TALENT and the 9 PM episode of MARLON. Both shows were up, week-to-week, with the sitcom adding 10% to its total viewership.

A double show of MASTERCHEF led FOX to tie NBC in the A18-49 demographic, and just a tenth of a point behind in the A18-34 and A25-54 demos. Like NBC, FOX too was up week-to-week, including two-tenths of a point in the A18-49 age group, in the 9 PM hour.

The CW aired a two hour movie of its new animated web series, VIXEN. The ratings are on par with the Arrow/Legends encores

CBS was competitive with BIG BROTHER, posting a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49, during the 9 PM hour. SALVATION and an encore of CRIMINAL MINDS each finished fourth in their respective time slots.

ABC was all-encore from 8 to 10 PM, with a special 20/20 winning the 10 PM hour.
