ABC has the #1 rated show on the night, with THE BACHELORETTE, helping it win the night over NBC. The dating reality series drew 5.8 million viewers and a solid 1.4 rating in Adults 18-34. Following at 10 PM, is the summer premiere of TO TELL THE TRUTH, which topped MIDNIGHT TEXAS in total viewers and in the younger A18-34 demo.

CBS had the premiere of CBS NEWS: ON ASSIGNMENT, at 10 PM. The news program was third in its 10 PM time slot, collecting just 2.7 million viewers and a poor 0.2 rating in Adults 18-34.
