Complete Nielsen Ratings: July 31 - Aug. 6, 2017
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #95:
With the first football game of the season, NBC dominated the weekly ratings, with an easy sweep of the four reported categories. NBC nearly doubled up #2 ABC in the weekly averages and drew and average of 1.3 million more viewers than CBS.
The Hall Of Fame Game (#2) brought in 8.3 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the A18-49 demographic, for three hours on Thursday night. Pare that with AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (#1) and its 13.3 million viewers and 2.8 demo rating, and you have about 23% of the network's schedule. NBC posted the top four shows and a total of 10 Shows in the top 30.
ABC overtook CBS for second place, with CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD (#10) and THE BACHELORETTE (#12) lead in the way. But, only the six programs on Sunday and Monday night, make up the network's top 30 representation.
CBS did push five shows into the top 10, including all three BIG BROTHER episodes, but the annual WE DAY broadcast and two episodes of the burn-off drama, DOUBT, helped bring down the weekly average from last week. In total, CBS had 13 top 30 shows.
FOX was consistent at fourth place, but did push MASTERCHEF (#25) into the top 30.
The CW's best shows were PENN & TELLER: FOOL US (#74) and WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (#76).
