Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 06/01/2017

Game one of the NBA Finals dominated the Thursday night ratings, drawing 15.7 million viewers and a 5.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is even with last year's game one, which featured the same two teams.

Leading into the game was a half hour JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE and NBA Countdown. Both preliminary numbers are inflated, but down from last year's ratings.

Everyone else was in encores, except for FOX, which had its two new shows, BEAS SHAZAM and LOVE CONNECTION. SHAZAM collected 3.4 million viewers and posted a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49, down slightly from last week's premiere.

LOVE CONNECTION dopped to 2.9 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating, down 15% in total viewers and 28% in the demo, from last week's first episode.
