Final Broadcast Ratings: June 22, 2017
CBS was the most watched network, but FOX won the night, posting the top averages in the three demographic ratings. Both BEAT SHAZAM and LOVE CONNECTION posted the best number in the A18-49 demographic and were within the top five ratings in the two older demographic categories. LOVE CONNECTION tied THE WALL, in the A18-49 demo rating, during the 9 PM hour.
CBS was the only network, of the BIG 4, to not have original programming on the night, but it drew more viewers than ABC, FOX and NBC. CBS was also competitive in all three demos, anb topped ABCX in the A25-54 demo.
NBC premiered two of its veteran summer series, starting off with HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT. The game show was third in its hour, beating only BOY BAND on ABC. At 9 PM, THE WAL won the hour for NBC, in viewers and the two older demographics. Closing out the night, was the drama, THE NIGHT SHIFT, placing second in the hour. The drama is down 1.2 million viewers and nearly 50% in the demo, from last summer's premiere.

BOY BAND fell flat, collecting just three million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating, placing 4th in the at 8 PM hour and edging out CBS for third in the 9 PM hour. Another try at the classic game show, THE GONG SHOW did perk up the network's numbers, growing just under 30% from its lead in and winning the low rated 10 PM hour.
