Primetime Cable Ratings: May 17, 2017

Game one of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals was the #1 cable program on Wednesday night, drawing a solid 6.4 million viewers and a 2.7 rating in Adults 18-49. The Cavs vs Celtics match up also posted a strong 3.7 rating in men 18-49 and, in its weakest demographic, posted the nights best Women 12-34 rating of a 1.3. There is still a lot of NBA basketball left, with both conference series at just one game played.

MSNBC has been making a surge lately, challenging FOX News as the top cable news network, in primetime. RACHEL MADDOW show was the #2 program of the night and MSNBC averaged 2.5 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. FOX News averaged 2.6 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the demo.
