Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 05/07/2017

With a special documentary retrospective on Princess Diana and her last 100 days, ABC rises to the top of the Sunday ratings. The special drew 6.4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49, from 9 to 11 PM. Compared to last week's offerings of MATCH GAME and AMERICAN CRIME, the time slot is up 3.7 million viewers and 50% in the A18-49 demographic.

NBC and FOX fought for second place, with FOX taking the younger, A18-34 demographic and NBC besting FOX in the other two demo categories. NBC's LITTLE BIG SHOTS posted the nights best A18-49 score, with a 1.2 rating.

FOX closed out season three of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, with two episodes in the 9 PM hour. The comedy held stead from the 9 PM episode to the 9:30 episode, averaging 1.8 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating.

CBS had an uneven night, drawing the most viewers, but finishing last in the A18-34 demo and tied for third in the A18-49 demo.
