Final Broadcast Ratings: May 2, 2017

CBS wins the Tuesday night ratings, taking three of the four reported categories, including the most viewers (10.6 million) and the top A18-49 demographic score, a 1.2 rating. CBS ended up with the three of the four most watch shows of the night, with NCIS: NEW ORLEANS falling outside of the top 3.

NBC came in second place, thanks to THE VOICE for securing the top scores in two of the three demographic categories NCIS won the A25-54 age group. The new sitcom, GREAT NEWS drops off, from its lead in, by 50%, and another 20% for the second episode. CHICAGO FIRE still wins the 10 PM time slot, but could be stronger with a better lead in.

The season finale of THE MICK did relatively well, for FOX. But, the network was last in the 8 PM hour, behind THE FLASH, on the CW. PRISON BREAK does elevate the network, rising to second place, for the hour.

ABC continues to tread water on the night, with just its 8 PM comedies doing well. We may very well see ABC axe two thirds of the night, come upfronts, in two weeks.
