CBS dominates the weekly ratings for the third straight week, thanks to a large dose of original programming and the two FINAL FOUR game, on Saturday night. The network only ran encores on Monday night, giving 19.5 hours of original programming to viewers.
CBS took the top five spots of the chart, with the two Saturday night games and the studio show in between, taking the top three. NCIS was $3 and THE BIG NAG THEORY was #5. CBS also scored well with Sunday's ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS (#7), which drew 10.9 million viewers and demographic ratings about double the average of the regular series. In total, CBS had 17 programs in the top 30 and every show was within the top 50.
FOX, ABC and NBC were tightly bunched, fighting for positions, with NBC edging out for a second place finish, ABC next at third and FOX on their heels in fourth.
NBC placed seven programs in the top 30, while ABC had five and FOX just one. DANCING WITH THE STARS and the two nights of THE VOICE were the only non-CBS shows in the top 10. EMPIRE, FOX's top entry, ranked 19th on the week.
For the CW, THE FLASH ranked 29th in the A18-34 demographic.
