Final Broadcast Ratings: March 5, 2017
NBC's new Sunday line up helped win the night for the network, capturing the most watched program of the night and winning three of the four hours of the night. The LITTLE BIG SHOTS season premiere was #1 across the board, grabbing 11.7 million viewers and a robust 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 30% in the demographic rating and off by over one million viewers from last year's premiere.
Following LBS, CHICAGO JUSTICE settled into its regular time slot, beating MADAM SECRETARY and FAMILY GUY for the time slot win. At 10 PM, the return of SHADES OF BLUE easily topped ELEMENTARY for the time slot victory.
CBS edged out FOX for the second place finish, but struggled in the A18-34 demographic all night. The network posted two of the four lowest ratings of the night, in the younger demo.
FOX had two premieres on the night. At 8:30, was the series premiere of MAKING HISTORY, a time travel sitcom. The numbers are on par for the time slot, perhaps a little better than SON OF ZORN. THE LAST MAN ON EARTH returned at 9:30, retaining over 80% of its lead in FAMILY GUY audience.
ABC was all new on the night, with the Spring premiere of ONCE UPN A TIME and a two hour series premiere of TIME AFTER TIME, yes another time travel series. both shows were last in their respective time slots, easily pushing ABC to a last place showing on the night.
