With the last three days of February sweeps included, NBC sweeps the ratings for the week of February 27, 2017. The win is on the strength of three nights of THE VOICE, four CHICAGO series and the return of LITTLE BIG SHOTS.
NBC took four of the top five spots, with THE VOICE taking three of those four NBC spots. THE VOICE premiere was #1 with 13 million viewers and a 3.1 rating in Adults 18-49. LITTLE BIG SHOTS premiere was #2, with 11.7 million viewers. The series premiere of CHICAGO JUSTICE (#11) was the lowest rated of the CHICAGO franchise, with 8.7 million viewers. In total, NBC placed 11 programs in the top 30.
CBS was mostly in encores for the week, including its entire Thursday and Friday lineups. Three encore episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY made the top 20. A repeat of NCISm on Tuesday night, ranked 9th and HAWAII FIVE-O and BLUE BLOODS encores made the top 30. CBS pushed 15 shows into the top 30.
ABC edged out FOX for the #3 spot of the week, placing four shows into the top 30. The network was hurt bad by airing the four night, eight hour miniseries, WHEN WE RISE. The event series averaged just above two million viewers a night. ABC also had a horrible series premiere of TIME AFTER TIME (#67) and a lower than average airing of NBA Saturday Primetime.
FOX failed to put a single program in the top 40 and only 24: LEGACY (#49) and MASTERCHEF JR. (#50) made the top 50.
For the CW, THE FLASH ranked #12 in the A18-34 demographic and 35th in the A18-49 demo.
