Final Broadcast Ratings: February 6, 2017
The NEW FOX Monday night did relatively well, averaging 6.2 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is a 60% viewer increase from last week's winter finales of GOTHAM and LUCIFER. The A18-49 demo rose 30% week-to-week.
24: LEGACY held onto roughly a third of the audience that sampled the premiere, the night before, after the Super Bowl. The action drama was #2 in the time slot, in each of the three demographic ratings. The series premiere of the crime drama, APB, held onto almost all of its lead in and saw slight growth in the A18-34 demo. That is a nice start for the new series.
THE BACHELOR continues to rule the night, posting younger demographic ratings, way above the nearest competition. Its 2.3 rating in the A18-34 demo was 1.4 points better the the 0.9 APB drew. QUANTICO kills all momentum it gets from THE BACHELOR, losing 4.9 million viewers and a drop of 70% in the A18-49 demo.
The CBS comedies push the network to a 3rd place finish on the night. The time slot premiere of the new sitcom, SUPERIOR DONUTS held its lead in audience and grew in total viewers. SCORPION had an easy time sweeping the 10 PM hour, beating TIMELESS and QUANTICO.
NBC struggled to top the CW for a 4th place finish, tying it in the A18-34 demographic. The CW was the only competition NBC beat on the night.
