Final Broadcast Ratings: February 13, 2017
THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE closed out its worst season ever, drawing just 3.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is about half the audience from the finale of the last Trump-lead edition, in May of 2015. THE APPRENTICE basically finished in 4th place, during the 9 PM hour, only beating JANE THE VIRGIN. TIMELESS continues to feel the effects of a bad lead in, struggling to top QUANTICO for second place and posting the night's worst A18-34 demographic ratings, below both CW programs.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, THE BACHELOR continues to draw in strong numbers from the younger demographic ages, tripling up its closest competitors in the A18-34 demo and doubling up in the A18-49 demo. THE BACHELOR was also the second most watched program of the evening. With all that as a lead in, QUANTICO finds away to scare off viewers, holding onto just 20% of the A18-34 viewers THE BACHELOR delivers. Total viewership retention is just 33% and A18-49 retention is 30%.
CBS is a solid second place network on the night and the most consistent. Only 20% of the A18-49 ratings is lost through the night and the A18-34 demo is mostly flat. KEVIN CAN WAIT has earned a second season renewal and MAN WITH A PLAN is close to earning its second season.
FOX's new Monday night was hit with a dose of reality, with significant losses for both new dramas. 24: LEGACY, with 5.1 million viewers and a 1,2 rating in Adults 18-49, is down 1% in total viewership and 20% in the demo, from last week. APB has deeper losses, losing 27% in viewers and dropped 33% in the demo. APB has already dropped below levels for LUCIFER, in the 9 PM hour.
