ESPN rules the first Monday of the new year, with a double shot of bowl games. The Rose Bowl, starting in the late afternoon, hauled in a 15.7 million viewers and a 4.1 rating in Adults 18-49. At 9:30, the Sugar Bowl drew 9.5 million viewers and a 2.8 demo rating.
