US Box Office Results: December 9 - 11, 2016
MOANA stays at the #1 sopt, collecting $18.8 million in its third week release. after 17 days the Disney animated movie has hauled in $145 million, domestically. Worldwide, MOANA has grossed $239 million. The movie should have long legs at the box office as kids have yet to be released from school for Christmas break and parents will need to find things to entertain the little ones for a couple of weeks.
OFFICE CHRSITMAS PARTY was a close second place, bringing in $17.5 million, domestically. In less theaters than MOANA, it actually had a higher per-screen average than any other movie in wide-release.
