CBS mid-season plans:
CBS released its plans for the second half of the 2016-17 TV season. Only four nights are affected, including a new drama on Saturday Nights.

The end of SEX:
Showtime has cancelled the low rated series, MASTERS OF SEX, after four seasons.
Downloading available:
Netflix will begin letting subscribers download movies and TV shows onto their phones and tablets. Not all titles are available for download, but the catalog will expand over time.
The end of THE ODD COUPLE 3.0?
CBS has not ordered episodes of THE ODD COUPLE beyond the initial 13 for season three. But, the network is not saying it is cancelled and is in the running for a 2017-18 renewal.
Amazon reboots kids series:
SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS is getting the reboot treatment from Amazon and will premiere sometime in 2017. The original series ran on Saturday mornings, from the fall of 1973 to the fall of 1975, producing 29 episodes.
EPIX renews two series:
Freshmen series BERLIN STATION and GRAVES have been renewed for a second season.
