Preliminary Ratings: Monday 12/12/16

THE VOICE leads NBC to a Monday night victory, but in doing so, it posts its worst Monday night ratings of the season. The last Monday night edition of THE VOICE collected 11.4 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. it is the first time this season the series fell under a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. Not a good sign for Tuesday's season finale. TIMELESS was edged out by SCORPION for the win at 10 PM, but it did top the crime drama in the A18-49 demographic.

CBS barely beats ABC for the #2 spot of the night. Fall finales from KEVIN CAN WAIT and THE ODD COUPLE did relatively well. KEVIN CAN WAIT was #2 overall in the A18-49 demographic, behind THE VOICE, and THE ODD COUPLE kept more than 80% of its lead in viewership.

ABC's GRET CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT is slightly up from last week's premiere and an encore airing of THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW did better in the demos than last week's CONVICTION episode.

ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL preempted NBC in Baltimore and ABC in Boston.
