Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 11/09/2016

With four weeks in between episodes, EMPIRE posts its lowest ratings of the season. Just 8.1 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in Adults 18-49, tuned into the fifth episode of the season It was still strong enough to power FOX to win the night.

ABC and CBS fought for the second spot of the night, with CBS drawing more viewers and tying ABC in the A18-34 demo, while ABC was second best in the A18-49 and A25-54 demos. CBS won the 8 PM hour with SURVIVOR winning the 8 PM hour. ABC did not win any hour of the night, but cam in second place, at 10 PM, with a deflated DESIGNATED SURVIVOR.

NBC continues to place fourth on the night, but is not far behind ABC and CBS. CHICAGO PD was #1 in the 10 PM hour, but BLINDSPOT and LAW & ORDER: SVU are fourth in their respective times lots.
