Final Broadcast Ratings: Novembr 17, 2016

The first game of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, on NBC, did less than stellar numbers, The game drew just 13.3 million viewers and a 4.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That only beats one game from the CBS game. The CBS low was 12.1 million viewers and a 4.1 demo rating, the week after CBS did not have a TNF game. The CBS average for TNF is 14.7 million viewers and a 5.0 rating in the A18-49 demographic. But, NBC still won the night, something it has not done on Thursdays, this season.

ABC closed out two of its three dramas for the remainder of 2016, with GREY'S ANATOMY and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER going on hiatus until January. ABC ended up in third place for the night, but GREY'S was the #2 entertainment program of the night, behind BIG BANG. NOTORIOUS will continue on the night as it burns off the remainder of its episode commitment.

It was a typical night for CBS as the line up saw only slight losses with TNF on NBC. PURE GENIUS continues to do poor numbers, placing third in the 10 PM time slot and falls to the levels of NOTORIOUS in each of the demographic categories.

Not much to say about FOX as it basically did no better than The CW on the night.
