Primetime Cable Ratings: October 5, 2016

The National League Wild Card game did not disappoint ESPN in the ratings, as the winner take all game drew 7.4 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is 3.2 million viewers more than the AL Wild Card game, on TBS, the night before. Compared to ESPN's AL Wild Card game, last year, the 2016 NLWC was only slightly off in viewers and demo ratings.

FOX News takes three of the next four spots, with its political line up, averaging 2.8 million viewers through the night. HANNITY keeps up with the other two shows on the night, only 300k in viewers, behind THE KELLY FILE.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY drops below three million viewers for the first time this season, but is still strong enough to take the #3 spot on the night. Week-to-week, AHS is down about 350,000 viewers and 20% in the A18-49 demographic.
