Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 10/09/2016

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL still tops Sunday night, but the second Presidential Debate takes a chunk of viewers from the NFL game. The Giants v Packers game has pulled in a season low preliminary rating of just 15 million viewers, along with a 5.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It is 1.7 million viewers off from last week's prelim numbers, which only rose to 18 million total viewers.

With NBC out of the debate coverage, ABC and CBS pull in solid numbers for the debate. Between the three broadcast networks, the debate collected 29.6 million viewers and a 8.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is 15 million viewers less than what the four networks brought in for the first debate, on September 26.
