Preliminary Ratings: Monday 10/24/2016
Another Monday, Another win for NBC. Its combo of THE VOICE and, to a lesser extent, TIMELESS, push the network to an easy sweep of the ratings. Week-to-week, THE VOICE is down 400k in total viewers, but was even in the A18-49 demo. TIMELESS, now losing 50%, or more, of its lead in, dropped two-tenths of a point in the A18-34 demo and one tenth of a point in the A18-49 demo.
CBS rolled out its final Monday night series, the comedy MAN WITH A PLAN. It held 92% of its total lead in audience and 100% of the A18-49 demographic. A good start for the freshman sitcom. KEVEN CAN WAIT, now at 8 PM, felt the effect of no BIG BANG THEORY as a lead in. The comedy lost 600,000 viewers and a half a point in the A18-49 demo, from last week's 8:30 episode. 2 BROKE GIRLS held steady, at 9 PM, while (;30 sitcom, THE ODD COUPLE, was flat, with gains in total viewership and the A25-54 demo.
ABC was a close third place, placing second in total viewers and the A18-34 demographic. Encouraging news for the network is that CONVICTION grew week-to-week, adding about 700,000 total viewers and gains in each of the three demographic ratings. That comes with a flat DWTS as the lead in.
FOX continues to be 4th place on the night, with neither series drawing more than four million viewers.
