Final Broadcast Ratings: October 24, 2016
Another Monday, Another win for NBC. Its combo of THE VOICE and, to a lesser extent, TIMELESS, push the network to an easy sweep of the ratings. Week-to-week, THE VOICE is down 200k in total viewers, but was even in the A18-49 demo. TIMELESS, now losing more than 50% of its lead in, dropped two-tenths of a point in the A18-34 demo and in the A18-49 demo.
CBS rolled out its final Monday night series, the comedy MAN WITH A PLAN. It held 94% of its total lead in audience only lost a tenth of a point of the A18-49 demographic. A good start for the freshman sitcom. KEVEN CAN WAIT, now at 8 PM, felt the effect of no BIG BANG THEORY as a lead in. The comedy lost 600,000 viewers and a half a point in the A18-49 demo, from last week's 8:30 episode. 2 BROKE GIRLS held steady, at 9 PM, while 8:30 sitcom, THE ODD COUPLE, was mostly flat.
ABC was a close third place, placing second in total viewers and the A18-34 demographic. Encouraging news for the network is that CONVICTION grew week-to-week, adding about 500,000 total viewers and gains in the A18-49 demo. That comes with a flat DWTS as the lead in.
FOX continues to be 4th place on the night, with neither series drawing more than four million viewers.
