The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #101:
CBS wins the week in total viewers and households, but without THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on the schedule (the only network without a football boost), NBC has an easy time sweeping/dominating the younger demographic categories. NBC has seven programs in the top 30. Three are from NFL Football coverage, two from THE VOICE (#9 & #10), one from the Post-Debate Analysis (#8) and the last from THIS IS US (#27). All seven programs were strong in the A18-49 demographic and cover more than a third of the NBC schedule.
Without football, CBS still managed to place 14 programs in the top 30, including the top 8 scripted programs of the week. But, only THE BIG BANG THEORY managed to pull an A18-49 rating above a 3.0.
The A18-49 surge by ABC and FOX is a direct result of good numbers from football. ABC had a great Saturday night college game (#21), which posted a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49, for the entire night. FOX had an entire of NFL overrun to push its A18-49 demo by 25% over last week's average. in top 30 representation, ABC had five shows, while FOX placed just four, three from NFL programming.
