CBS sweeps the week in the ratings, scoring the top number in all four reported categories. NBC did tie CBS in the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics, but was far behind CBS in total viewers and households. FOX took a big slide backwards, after a nice showing last week, while ABC was mostly steady, in a distant third place.
CBS won the week, by taking four of the top five spots, seven of the top ten and a total of 17 shows in the top 30. Only the season premiere of THE ODD COUPLE and Sunday's ELEMENTARY failed to reach the top 40, for CBS, excluding Saturday programming.
NBC's success still lands on the shoulders of NFL Programming and THE VOICE. Of its six top 20 shows, five fall within those two programs. THIS IS US ranked 14th on the week, to give NBC some new blood on top.
ABC only placed one show, DANCING WITH THE STARS, in the top 20 and had just four shows in the top 30, including its Presidential Debate analysis show, at #23.
With EMPIRE preempted by the debate, FOX failed to push a program within the top 30. LETHAL WEAPON was the network's top performer, drawing 6.7 million viewers before the debate. The special live presentation of ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW ranked 47th on the week, collecting just five million viewers.
