US Box Office Results: September 9 - 11, 2016
The first weekend of the fall movie season produces yet another #1 movie for TOM HANKS, as SULLY brings in $35.5 million in its first three days. This is the third biggest opening (live action) for HANKS, behind the the two DaVinci Code movies.
Also new this weekend is the drama, WHEN THE BOUGH BREAKS, opening in the #2 spot with $15 million. After that, every other movie fails to rach the $10 million mark
