US Box Office Results: September 23 - 25, 2016
Two new movies top this weekend's box office, with the remake of the classic film, THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN taking the #1 spot. The Denzel Washington/Chris Pratt movie brought in $35 million in its first three days, 75% than the $21 million the #2 movie, SOTRKS hauled in. M7 should approach $100 million its its theatrical run covering its $90 million production budget.
Last week;s #1 movie, SULLY, drops to the #3 spot, adding $13.8 million to its total of over $92 million.
