US Box Office Results: September 16 - 18, 2016
Three new, wide release movies could not dethrone SULLY from the top of the Box Office chart. The Tom Hanks movie added another $22 million to its 10 day total of $70.5 million. That is more then $10 million above its production budget.
BLAIR WITCH lead all new comers, placing second overall, with $9.7 million. that is a million and a half more then BRIDGET JONES'S BABY and the political thriller, SNOWDEN.
SUICIDE SQUAD is still hanging in there, with 4.7 million, good enough for 7th place. The DC Comics feature has a domestic total of $314 million and a worldwide total of $719 million.
