NBC sweeps the final week of the 2015-16 52 week season. The combination of Sunday Night Football, Finales of its hit summer series and the season premiere of BLINDSPOT, elevated the network to an easy victory. The network notched ten shows in the top 30, including both episodes of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (#5 & #6) and the BETTER TLATE THAN NEVER finale (#13).
CBS was very competitive this week, thanks a strong showing from THE CASE OF: JonBenet Ramsey, Thursday Night Football and its first Sunday of NFL overrun into primetime.THE CASE OF placed 11th on the week, with over 10.4 million viewers and a solid 2.1 demo rating. THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL placed 4th on the week, collecting 15.4 million viewers. CBS had 14 shows in the top 30.
ABC was a distant 3rd place. The Primetime Emmy Awards did not boost the network averages as it finished third in its Sunday time slot and ranked 10th on the week. The season premiere of DANCING WITH THE STARS was the #8 show of the week, with 12.2 million viewers. ABC only had four shows in the top 30.
FOX had a nice boost from its Saturday night College football game, but still placed fourth on the week. On the Game (#23) and MASTERCHEF (#30) placed in the top 30.
