Jack Ryan coming to series TV:
Amazon has picked up the Jack Ryan series, staring John Krasinski (THE OFFICE). The first season will consist of 10 episodes. Krasinski will be the fifth actor to protray the character on either TV or Film.
More ROBOT:
Despite lower than expected ratings, USA has renewed the sophomore drama, MR. ROBOT, for a third season.
AnnaPaquin to star in Netflix miniseries:
Netflix has given the greenlight to the miniseries, ALIAS GRACE, starring Anna Paquin. The series is a joint production with Netflix and the CBC. Production begins later this month.
PERRY MASON to HBO?
HBO is trying to finalize a deal that would bring Morton Downey Jr. to play in a small screen reboot of the classic crime series, PERRY MASON. Downey Jr. has been trying to get a feature film of the property done for years, but HBO may be the vehicle in which the actor gets the project greenlighted into production.
Nat Geo has its Einstein:
The first scripted drama for National Geographic Channel will be GENIUS, with Geoffrey Rush playing the main character, Alber Einstein. Look for 2017 premiere for the new series.

HGTV has renewed the series, VINTAGE FLIP, for a second season.
