The end is coming:
HBO has announced that GAME OF THRONES will produce just two more seasons of the hit series. Season seven will consist of just seven episodes, three less than a normal season.
TBS greenlights two series:
The cable network, TBS, has picked up the anthology series, THE GUEST BOOK, for 10 episodes, and the animated series TARANTULA.
TruTV renews one, picks up one:
TruTV has renewed the series, COMEDY KNOCKOUT for another season, and picked up the Bobcat Goldwait series, BOBCAT GOLDWAIT'S MESSED UP STORIES, for 2017.
More A WORD:
Sundance has renewed the series, THE A WORD, for a second season.
More Bill Maher:
HBO has renewed the political comedy series, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER, for two more seasons, through 2018.
Many TNT Movies:
TNT was busy adding and renewing shows, starting with the renewal of the action series, THE LAST SHIP, for a fourth season. The network picked up he post-Cival War series, MONSTERS OF GOD, from Brad Pitt's production company. TNT also gave a series order to Charles Barkley's THE RACE CARD docuseries.
