Primetime Cable Ratings: August 17, 2016

What was hot on cable TV on Wednesday night? FOX News and reruns of the BIG BANG THEORY. Between FNC and TBS, the two networks took eight of the top ten spots. FNC averaged 2.6 million viewers, from 8 to 11 PM, while TBS averaged 2.1 million viewers for its six BBY episodes. The only other network to have every hour of programming draw over one million viewers was MSNBC, which averaged 1.4 million viewers.

GREENLEAF, on OWN, was the top scripted original program, collecting 2.1 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. SUITS was next with just 1.7 million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating.
