Primetime Cable Ratings: August 1, 2016

TNT rose to the top of the charts with RIZZOLI & ISLES and MAJOR CRIMES taking the first two spots, respectively, averaging 3.9 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up from last week's numbers, with the DNC in full swing.

WWE RAW was right behind, grabbing 3.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the A18-49 demo, over the three hour event. That easily tops ESPN's Mets vs Yankees MLB game, which only generated 850,000 viewers.

FOX NEWS stayed in the top 10, with an hourly primetime average of 2.9 million viewers. CNN and MSNBC did not do as well, averaging between 1.0 and 1.5 million viewers each.
