Final Broadcast Ratings: August 14, 2016

Night nine of the Summer Olympics continues to dominate the ratings, drawing 26.8 million viewers and a 7.9 rating in Adults 18-49. that is down 3.2 million viewers and 1.2 ratings points in the demo, from last Sunday's ratings and is off by 4.7 million viewers and 2.3 ratings points from the second Sunday of the 2012 games.

ABC unleashed new episodes of its three hit game shows and the results were a bit soft. Only CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, with a 1.0 demo rating, was the only one of the three programs to post an A18-49 rating above a 1.0. MATCH GAME only did marginally better than last week's encore episode, adding less than one million viewers for the new episode.

CBS was third, thanks to solid numbers from BIG BROTHER. The reality series is up, week-to-week, growing by 13% in the A18-49 demo and adding over 400,000 viewers.
