Primetime Cable Ratings: July 21, 2016

The final night of the Republican National Convention pushed all three news networks to weekly highs. FOX News benefited the most, averaging 7.2 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That includes 9.7 million viewers and a 1.6 demo rating, in the final hour, during Trumps acceptance speech. CNN averaged 4.3 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the demo. MSNBC averaged less, with just 2.4 million viewers and a 0.4 demo.

USA and Disney had the night's only scripted original programs to draw a million or more viewers. QUEEN OF THE SOUTH collecting 1.2 million and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49, while the season finale of STUCK IN THE MIDDLE drew 1.5 million.
