Primetime Cable Ratings: July 19, 2016

FOX News continues to dominate the top three spots of the nightly cable chart, with night two of the Republican National Convention. But, each of the three hours were down from Monday night's numbers. Night-to-night, FOX News dropped from a primetime average of 5.5 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49, on Monday, to 4/8 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating. CNN and MSNBC also their numbers drop from Monday night.

WWE SMACKDOWN kicked off its new night, ranking fourth overall with 3.2 million viewers and a solid 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up by more than one million viewers and 100% in the demo, from last Friday's event. SMACKDOWN's numbers are on par with the previous night's WWE RAW event.

THE HAVES & HAVE NOTS was the op cable original, scripted series, ranking 7th and collecting 2.7 million viewers. Even with the tougher competition, the OWN drama series was up in total viewers and in the A18-49 demographic, over last Tuesday's episode.
