Preliminary Ratings: Monday 07/18/2016
ABC edged NBC as top dog of the Monday night ratings. ABC won the first two hours, as the BACHELORETTE trumped over AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR, from 8 to 10 PM. But it was NBC's coverage of the Republican National Convention that made the night competitive between the two nets. NBC posted A18-49 and A25-54 demo rating that were about 50% higher than those from ABC.
FOX topped CBS in the demos, to take third place on the night. Not that the ratings for SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE were anything special, but CBS' all repeat line up, plus the lowest numbers of the three nets covering the convention, equals a 4th place finish.
The CW filled the night with the forgettable movie, 10 YEARS, which starred Channing Tatum.
