Primetime Cable Ratings: May 30, 2016

Game 7 of the NBA Wester Conference Finals blew up and drew a record 16.0 million viewers and a 6.4 rating in Adults 18-49. It was, by far, the most watched program over the holiday weekend. The Golden State Warriors came back, after being down three games to one, to win the best of seven series and go onto the NBA finals for a second straight year.

The multicast of the remade ROOTS miniseries did well, collecting 5.0 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49, over for networks. HISTORY drew the most with 2.5 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating. That combined total tops last year's TEXAS RISING miniseries by one million viewers.
