Primetime Cable Ratings: June 21, 2016

OWN owned the top of the Tuesday night cable chart, taking the #1 and #2 spots, thanks to the series premiere of GREENLEAF and the season premiere of THE HAVES & HAVE NOTS. GREENLEAF, from LionsGate Television, collected 3.0 million viewers and a solid 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49. The series' #1 demo was women 18-49, with a 1.2 rating. The new drama is now the #1 series debut for OWN.

The third season premiere of THE HAVES & HABE NOTS was the night's #2 program, hauling in 2.9 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. Last summer, the season opener drew 3.3 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating.

Also premiering on the night was FreeForm's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. The veteran drama brought in 1.4 million viewers, along with a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Year-to-year, the season premiere is down one million viewers and 36% in the demo.

Team USA was in action in COPA America soccer, versus Argentina. The combined Univision Deportes and FOX Sports 1 audience was 3.77 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. FS1 collected the bulk of the audience, with 2.7 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating, on its own.
