Final Broadcast Ratings: June 21, 2016

NBC has an easy time sweeping the Tuesday night ratings, with AMERICA'S GOT TALENT posting 11.7 million viewers and a 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The talent show is down 12% in the A18-49 demo and 8% in the A18-34 demo. That led into the variety series, MAYA & MARTY, collecting 4.2 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 25-54. It too was down in the demos, losing 22% in the A25-54 demo and 15% in the A18-49 demo.

Week two of ABC's UNCLE BUCK and TO TELL THE TRUTH did not go well. UNCLE BUCK lost 1.5 million viewers and 33% in the A18-49 demographic, while TO TELL THE TRUTH dropped 1.1 million viewers and 25% in the demo. The silver lining is that the network grew each hour, in total viewership.

CBS edged out FOX for the #3 spot of the night. The series finale of PERSON OF INTEREST did about what it has been doing this spring, collecting 6.5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. It was a good run for the series that never lived up to its expected potential, in the ratings.

Gloomy ratings continue to hit FOX. COUPLED is another low and was the worst performing show, including encores, of any Big 4 network program.
