Complete Nielsen Ratings: June 13 - 19, 2016
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #91:
With the final three games of the NBA FINALS played this past week, ABC dominated the Nielsen ratings. The network more than doubled CBS and NBC in total viewers and posted a better A18-49 and A25-54 rating than the other four networks, combined. All three games and the trophy presentation show took the top four spots of the chart, plus all three NBA Countdown shows and two of the three JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! shows made the top 30. The only non-NBA related programs to make the top 30, for ABC, were Tuesday's two episodes of TO TELL THE TRUTH and UNCLE BUCK. ABC also took 10 of the top 12 spots in the A18-34 demo and 8 of the top 10 in the A18-49 demo. ABC only had four hours of encore programming this week.
NBC and CBS were neck & neck, with NBC edging ahead in the younger dempgraphic ratings. AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (#5) and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR (#8) both made the top 10. New series, SPARTAN, debuted at #25, plus three other NBC programs made the top 30. Thursday's two hour premiere of AQUARIUS, with no commercials, kicked off its second season in the #62 position, drawing just 2.7 million viewers. NBC programmed 16 hours of original proigramming.
CBS is still relying on its encore programming, with only PERSON OF INTEREST (#12) and the premiere of BRAIN DEAD (#28) as the network's list of original programs. The network still managed to place 11 shows in the top 30, but zero shows managed to post a 1.5+ rating in Adults 18-49.
FOX, with 14 (out of 16)hours of original programming, still lags behind in fourth place. The premiere of HOME FREE (#68) was DOA, getting just 2.3 million viewers. Sunday coverage of the US Golf Open (#16) was the network's only entry into the top 30. MASTERCHEF was next at #36.
