US Box Office Results: May 13 - 15, 2016
It was another massive week for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, as it collected an additional $72.6 million in its second weekend. That was $55 million more then #2, THE JUNGLE BOOK. Both movies are Disney properties. For CA: CIVIL WAR, that brings its 10-day total to 296 million, domestically, while JUNGE BOOK, out for five weeks, has a domestic take of over $311 million.
The only other movie to get over $10 million this weekend was the new movie, MONEY MONSTER, starring George Cloony and Julia Roberts, getting $15 million. Spots four through ten collectively gorossed less than $19 million
