Primetime Cable Ratings: May 3, 2016

Politics rule the Tuesday night cable ratings, as FOX takes three of the to four spots, with its coverage of the Indian Primary. The News channel averaged 4.3 million viewers over the three hours, with THE KELLY FILE drawing the most, with 5.3 million viewers.

CNN had a good showing, taking spots five, six and nine. The network averaged 2.6 million viewers in primetime and topped FOX News, by a tenth of a point in the A18-49 demographic.

MSNBC's primetime coverage ranked 14th on the night, with 1.6 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the A18-49 demo.
