Top 100 Primetime Cable: April 4 - 10, 2016

With the NCAA Men's Championship game was played on cable TV this year and TBS reaped the benefits, posting the top two programs of the week. The game collected 13.9 million viewers and a 4.5 rating in Adults 18-49. The pregame show was the #2 program, drawing 9.7 million viewers. Both were a very far cry from what CBS drew the previous year, but a great number for the network best know for its BIG BANG reruns.

The season premiere of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD came in on a bit of a soft note, posting a series low in the ratings. But, this is the first time the series premiere a week after the parent series finale. It should still be a very solid performer for AMC, but do not expect the ratings to come close to what THE WALKING DEAD generates.

The finale to THE PEOPLE VS OJ were relatively good for FX, but from premiere to finale, viewership was down almost 50% and the A18-49 demo dropped 35%.

LOVE & HIP HOP was the weeks top reality series, ranking 15th and bringing in 2.8 million viewers.
