ABC renews 15 series:
ABC passed out mass renewals for the 2016-17 season. Comedies are FRESH OFF THE BOAT, MODERN FAMILY, THE GOLDBERGS, THE MIDDLE and BLACKISH. Dramas coming back are GREY'S, HTGAWM, SCANDAL, ONCE UPON A TIME, QUANTICO and AGENTS OF SHIELD. Reality series coming back are DANCING WITH THE STARS, THE BACHELOR, AFV and SHARK TANK.



More FULLER HOUSE:
Netflix did not waste anytime and renewed FULLER HOUSE for a second season, just days after season one was released.



BIG HERO 6:
Disney XD will be the home of the TV series, BIG HERO 6, based on the 2014 theatrical movie. Not date announced on when it would premiere.



AT&T taking DirectTV OTT:
AT&T is looking to attract the cord-cutters with a new DirectTV Branded streaming service, in Q4. There will be a "range of packages" for subscribers to choose from, including a on0demand and live TV programming.



TERROR coming to AMC:
AMC is developing an original anthology series titled, THE TERROR. Ten episodes have been ordered for the first season, based on the Dan Simmons bestselling novel.



A Roddenberry at the top of STAR TREK:
CBS has tapped Rod Roddenberry, the son of STAR TREK creator Gene Roddenberry, as executive producer of the new 2017 STAR TREK series in development.
