New coaches for THE VOICE:
Miley Cirus and Alicia Keys will join Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for the 11th season of TH VOICE, this fall.
FOX renews two comedies:
Veteran comedies, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE and THE LAST MAN ON EARTH will return for the 2016-17 season, with early renewals.
New series for Timothy Olyphant:
Former DEADWOOD and JUSTIFIED star, Timothy Olyphant, and Drew Barrymore will star in a new Netflix comedy, SANTA CLARITA DIET. The series is scheduled for a 2017 release.
Nielsen households drop below 100 million:
For the 4th quarter of 2015, Nielsen Media Research reported that there were just 99.4 million TV households, in America. That is about 1.5 million less then Q3 of 2014.
HBO Axes TOGETHERNESS:
Second year series, TOGETHERNESS, will not get a third, as HBO has cancelled the series.
Rams HARD KNOCKS:
HBO will feature the LA Rams for its 2017 season of the docu-series, HARD KNOCKS.
Judge Palin:
Former Alaskan Govenor, Sarah Palin, will be getting her own syndicated courtroom series. Look for a fall 2017 launch of the series.
