Primetime Cable Ratings: March 8, 2016

With more primaries being held on Tuesday, the cable news channels were racking up the ratings. FOX News wins the night, taking three of the top five spots, including the top two programs. Over the course of primetime, FOX averaged 3.7 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49.

CNN placed all of its three hours of election coverage into the top 15, with a three hour average of 2.7 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating.

RIZZOLI & ISLES (#3) was the top regular series, drawing 3.3 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. that is a week-to-week increase of 900,000 viewers and a 20% jump in the A18-49 age group.
